No Bomb is Smart by Sonia of Disappear Fear
Dear Matt: Thanks. Yes you can add the no bomb is smart.com to your website. it is actually the name of a CD that was internationally released in January 2004. I focus my music on ways of healing the earth. (tikun olam)
One thing my record label does is that we donate 19 cents for every song downloaded from my website disappearfear.com to the United Nations World Food Program. It feeds one meal to one child in school, mostly in third world nations such as Africa and Mexico. No Bomb is Smart is also the title of a song that has been made into several dance mixes.
I came up with the idea that 'no bomb is smart' because the constant referral to 'smart bombs' on TV and the simple logic of how could any bomb be smart when what we are taught in kindergarden (that your child and mine will learn as well) is to take care of each other to share and to be considerate. How then could when we start to pay taxes and have so much of every single earned dollar go to the making a weapon that is precisely against taking care of each other or sharing or being considerate. Why as good standing and logical thinking Americans are our hard earned dollars forced to be destructive instead of positive? I sing about these very things in Spanish and Hebrew and Arabic as well as English. My new CD will be out in early 2007.
